Import pending bank lines
Bring QuickBooks' pending bank-feed lines into Databookly so you can code them in bulk.
QuickBooks keeps bank-feed lines that are waiting for review (Pending) inside QuickBooks Banking, and doesn't share them with connected apps. To work on them in Databookly, export them from QuickBooks and drop the file in. It takes a few seconds.
Who can import
Workspace Managers, Reviewers and Bookkeepers. See Roles & permissions.
Import
Pick the bank account
In Databookly, open Bank transactions and choose the bank or credit card account at the top. The Pending tab opens first, as it does in QuickBooks.
Export Pending from QuickBooks
Click Open in QuickBooks Banking. In QuickBooks, select the same account, stay on Pending, and export the list to Excel with the export button above the table.
Drop the file into Databookly
Back in Databookly, drag the file onto Drop QuickBooks' Pending export here, or click Choose files.
- .xlsx or .csv, up to 4 MB each.
- Several files at once is fine.
- Lines you've already imported are skipped, so re-importing a newer export never creates duplicates.
The lines appear in the Pending table: Date, Bank description, Spent, Received, From/To and Match/Category. The badge on the account shows how many are waiting.
Your imported files
Click View files → under the drop zone to see each file you imported and how many lines it added.
Clear imported removes all imported lines for that account from Databookly, for example to start over from a fresh export. It only clears Databookly's copy. QuickBooks isn't changed.
